If You Find A $100 Bill On Your Windshield, It Could Be A Trap.
There are a few things that are certain in life, like the fact that money doesn't grow on trees. You'll also find that a perfect stranger will not leave a $100 bill on your windshield while you're out shopping. It doesn't matter how rich someone is, no one is that generous. And yet, some people actually did find a $100 bill on the windshield of their car as they walked back to their cars. But it wasn't a blessing in disguise. It was a ploy to rob, steal, rape or possibly kill. So if you notice a bill on your windshield, resist the temptation to grab it and just drive away... or else.
Carjackers are always looking for a brand new way to screw people over and steal their money.
Now there's this brand new scheme to lure people out of their cars after they've put the keys in the ignition. It's easy to see how this little ruse would work under the right circumstances. Who wouldn't be tempted by money?
Like most of us, Kyri Vieham nearly fell for this horrible scheme and decided to share his experience on Facebook.
She had just finished shopping, and loaded all of her bags into the back seat. She even secured her son in his car seat and drove off. But it wasn't until she was on the highway that she noticed the bill that was under her windshield.
Kyri had pulled over to the side of the road in order to grab this money that seemingly came out of nowhere.
Unfortunately, the bill was under the wipers, which meant that she had to get out of the car, walk around the front, and grab it. But what turned out to be a blessing was actually just a bad joke.
Well, it turns out that it was more than just a bad joke. It was, in fact, a whole lot worse, but she dodged a bullet.
When she opened the dollar bill, it read, "ha,ha, you thought this was real, didn't you?" After rolling her eyes and shaking her head, she got back in her car and drove home. But something about the experience left her disturbed.
After all, there are worse jokes you can pull on someone than this. So when Kyri got home, she started doing some research.
She quickly discovered that it's ploy where someone places the money on your car while parked right next to you. Once you step around the front of the car, they jump into the driver's seat and take off with your car.
