Abandoned House In Detroit Was Filled With Flowers… The Photos Are Hauntingly Beautiful.
The idea was inspired by Christo and Jean-Claude's wrapped bridge preservation project in Paris.
The results of Waud's work on the first house are spooky and stunning - and that's with only 4,000 flowers. Using 100,000 for the second house will surely be a sight to behold.
“It’s a story in three parts," Waud said. "It's a house filled with flowers for one fall weekend, a deconstruction project partnering with a local company called Reclaim Detroit to reuse up to 75% of the materials in the structures, and the launching of an urban flower farm for my floral design company, Pot & Box.”
Take a look at these cool abandoned places. They look like they're from another world.
