Artist Nickolay Lamm created a 3D doll-sized model of an average 19-year-old American women and made her up just like Barbie. Lamm based the doll’s measurements upon the data provided by the Centers for Disease Control. Some people say that we shouldn’t pay attention to the body proportions because it’s just a toy. But research reveals that Barbie may lead to heightened body dissatisfaction and unhealthy eating behaviors among young girls.
