Lamm based the doll’s measurements upon the data provided by the Centers for Disease Control. Some people say that we shouldn’t pay attention to the body proportions because it’s just a toy. But research reveals that Barbie may lead to heightened body dissatisfaction and unhealthy eating behaviors among young girls.
