The Michelangelo Of Nipple Ink Is Helping Breast Cancer Survivors Feel Beautiful Again.

Brace yourselves : This collection of photos is incredibly moving, and powerful.

The images are all part of the P.Ink, or "Personal Ink" project, which focuses on helping breast cancer survivors find tattoo artists who can cover their breasts, post mastectomy, in the tattoos of their choice. Psychological studies have suggested that tattoos can help breast cancer survivors feel like they're beautiful, cover scars, and make women feel like they've regained control over their physical being.

The tattoos are amazingly detailed, personal, and stunning. Check out these brave women and their awesome ink below.
