This 11 Year-Old’s Lemonade Stand Just Landed An $11 MILLION Deal.
Mikaila Ulmer was only four years old when she became an entrepreneur. It all began when her family urged her to enter the Austin Lemonade Day competition. Mikaila borrowed a recipe from her granny’s Helen 1940 cookbook to make her now famous BeeSweet Lemonade using flaxseed and honey.
The little girl was terrified of bees after getting stung. She turned a negative and turned it into a positive when she began learning all there was to know about bees and their importance to both the environment and our survival. The 11-year-old made bees and her lemonade her passion. She now champions the survival of bees and donates part of her proceeds to save the bee population.
Mikaila appeared on the show Shark's Tank, asking for investors in her company BeeSweet Lemonade. Her drinks are now selling at health food stores.
The mini entrepreneur was invited to the White House.
Mikaila uses honey from local farms in her native Texas. She currently carries four flavours: lemonade original mint, lemonade with ginger, lemonade with iced tea, and lemonade with prickly pear.
