Steve Irwin’s Daughter Is All Grown Up. He Would Be So Proud To See THESE Photos.
Though Steve Irwin was Australian, he was truly an American National treasure. He rose to fame as a wildlife expert turned TV personality, and was most known for his work on the hit nature series, "The Crocodile Hunter." The show was broadcast internationally and taught viewers a lot about nature from Steve's pleasant and earnest perspective, often with his wife Terri and their little girl, Bindi.
Irwin was killed in 2006 after a stingray pierced his chest while filming, but his legacy lives on through his little girl. Bindi was only eight when Irwin died, but her father's work left a lasting impression on her. Now, she's all grown up, and commits much of her life to wildlife education and conservancy, just like her father. She works as an ambassador for Generation Nature, and donates 10% of her earnings to a wildlife organization.
“Wildlife work is in my blood,” Irwin said in an interview. “I'm not going to wake up one day and decide that I'm done trying to save the world! It's who I am.”
Check out pictures from Bindi Irwin's Instagram page below. From the looks of it, she is definitely her father's daughter.
