Japanese Men Tried To Play Soccer With Binoculars… OMG This Is Funny.
Japan is home to some of the world's greatest innovations in art, design, fashion, and technology. Even its stark traditionalism has brought on global praise; UNESCO Japanese cuisine was named a UNESCO 'Intangible' Heritage in 2013.
And yet, the country seems to attract more attention for its bizarre humor. Check out this video of 'Japanese Binocular Soccer.' What's that, you ask? It's exactly what it sounds like: a group of people playing soccer with binoculars strapped to their heads. Despite how ridiculous it sounds, you will see that they are actually trying very, very hard -- you have to watch it.
One might wonder, how do they come up with this stuff? The world may never know, but a country that works 13+ hour work days could sure use the comic relief.
Kudos to those of you who recognize the beginning announcer.
Here's another funny sport called bubble soccer.
