This Blind Jack Russell Has His Very Own Guide Dog, And The Photos Touched Me Deeply.

We all get by with a little help from our friends, but no pair are more connected than Glenn and Buzz, a blind Jack Russel terrier and the Staffordshire bull terrier who guides him.

The pair were found together, abandoned in a tunnel. They were both rescued, and much to the delight of the staff, they're basically inseparable.

“Buzz acts as Glenn’s eyes and it’s as simple as that." said Sue Bielby, veterinary director of the shelter said in an interview. “If they are separated even for a few minutes they both bark and become distressed so they would need to have a loving home together.”

The dogs are currently being housed in Durham, England, but need to find their forever home. Take a look at their insanely cute buddy-buddy photos below.

Glenn is completely blind, and Buzz goes everywhere with him.

Clearly, they work quite well together.

According to the workers at the shelter, Glenn gets his confidence from Buzz.

Buzz helps him find his food, and even pushes him towards the right bowl if Glenn makes a mistake.

We hope they find their forever home as soon as possible, because they are truly an amazing duo.

Here's one thing that every blind dog should have.
