Children may not articulate it to their parents but they know all the hard work and sacrifice that comes with raising a family. Sometimes parents give up a dream to focus on what is needed to move the family forward. Trips, cars, shopping sprees are irrelevant when you need to put food on the table, a roof over their heads, and so many other necessities that take priority over their own needs and wishes.

There are not enough words in the dictionary to say thanks, instead, showing love, spending time together, and having a strong work ethic, are just some of the ways adult children show gratitude. Except, for some kids they feel a strong urge to attempt to give back with more than just saying thank you.
