This Girl Proved Under-Eating Does NOT Give You The Body Of Your Dreams.
Most of us go through our day limiting the amount of food we consume in order to maintain a healthy body weight. Carbs, meat, and dairy are usually the first foods removed from the menu for dieters. Losing weight is different for everyone.
From the type of body, amount of activity at work, and sports, are all contributing factors to how much food we should actually be eating. 1,000 calories consumed per day for one woman may not be enough for another. That’s what fitness blogger Madalin Frodsham discovered when she was told she was not eating enough at 800 calories a day.
The Australian woman had a rigorous and high intense workout plan. She also found the 800 calories was keeping her full and satisfied throughout the day. Except, she was not getting the results she was expecting. That’s when she decided to see a nutritionist who told to eat more. Madalin was hesitant to add 1,000 more calories to her diet everyday but the results prove sometimes more is better.
Madalin on the left looks thin and healthy. To get the results she wanted, the nutritionist told her not just to eat more but also increase her carb intake as well.
"When he first told me to eat 50 percent carbs I nearly died. I was eating about 10 percent carbs before and could not fathom how 50 percent carbs would not make me fat," wrote Madalin on her Instagram account.
Eating less will put the body into conservation mode. This means the body will store more energy in order to function properly.
It made sense for Madalin's nutritionist to tell her to eat more as we get the most amount of energy from carbs.
It was not easy golfing down more food but eventually Madalin found her body felt more satisfied.
"I remember how hard I struggled to actually eat the size of my meals. I would just put my lunch next to my desk and eat it over the course of 3 hours as I couldn't eat it in one sitting! Now my stomach can take way more and is much happier," she wrote.
Madalin's body began to transform as well.
She got more toned and lean. Her abs began to show and she got smaller in the waist as well as more muscular.
Whole carbs include whole grains, fruits, legumes, and vegetables.
"Don't waste your time eating salad when you could be eating sweet potatoes and banana pancakes," explained Madalin.
