You might have thought that cat cafes were only a thing in places like Japan and South Korea, but now, the UK has a place where you can sip on beverages and pet cats. Naturally, instead of serving coffee or tea, this place serves beer: A proper English cat pub.

Located in Bristol, the pub is owned by Luke Daniels and pretty popular with the locals. People can stop in for a pint and pet the curious felines while they sip. The cats are given free range of the bar, and most patrons enjoy the company. Check out the adorable photos below.


"We have 15 cats in the pub – we once had 24 but that was too much," said landlord, 44-year-old Luke Daniels.
