This Abused Rescue Dog Was Transformed By Love…And Now She’s Paying It Forward.
Some dogs never get to experience kindness from humans. It's a heartbreaking fact. Dogs in puppy mills are just used for monetary profit to reproduce. Some will never know what it feels like to be loved and cared for.
One dog, Coconut, was rescued along with 150 others from a puppy mill. In May of 2013, the team at ASPCA found her trembling, starving, and scared to death of people. She was covered in mud and spent her days in a small enclosure with other dogs. Other than food and water, Coconut was deprived of every known pleasure. She was battered and broken and wouldn't allow anyone to even touch her. She was one of the most severe cases they had ever seen.
Dogs like Coconut are usually are sent to shelters and because of their demeanor, they are considered unadoptable and wind up being euthanized.
Watch what happens when Coconut gets some intensive treatment thanks to the people at ASPCA.
Share this with your friends so we can help dogs like Coconut find the loving homes they deserve.
