A Guy Built The Coziest Cabins You’ll Ever See… Wait Till You Peek Inside.
Sometimes we just need to get away for a couple of days. There is no need to plan a full-on vacation somewhere out of the country, but just being around nature, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life is what’s necessary to recharge our batteries.
Getaway, a startup project through the Millennial Housing Lab, offers three 160-square-foot cabins where people who want to stay off the grid can do so while still close enough to the city. In fact, when customers book their stay, they only know the secret location is approximately a two hour drive from Boston, Massachusetts.
For $99 a night, the cabins can sleep two to four people.

Visitors will know the location of their stay 24-hours before the trip.
Each cabin has a different design; The Clara, The Lorraine, and The Ovida. Each comes stocked with books, snacks, and board games.
Electricity and power is provided through solar panels.
Each cabin is filled with food before guests arrive.
Every cabin is stocked with marshmallow sticks for the night campfires.
There is no internet connection and barely cellphone reception; the perfect reason to simply disconnect from technology.
Getaway hopes their tiny home models will also be part of urban living in the near future.
The Millennial Housing Lab was founded by Harvard Business, Law, and Design students.
