Someone Said His Costume Was Inappropriate… Dad’s Respose Was Pretty Blunt.
Let's just start by saying that 9-year-old William Hutt's Halloween costume this year was absolutely brilliant, a perfect incarnation of Disney's Cruella DeVille. The costume was made possible by his dad, Will Hutt, who helped his son with the attire, wig, and makeup.
Unfortunately, not everyone had the good sense to appreciate Liam's costume for how amazing it was -- and one person even had the nerve to let Liam and his dad know. Luckily, Will Hutt isn't just an amazing costumer: He's also an amazing dad who stands up for his son no matter what.
First, check out this amazing transformation. He's got the eyebrows exactly right.
However, it was little Liam's attitude that really sold the costume.
Just look at the fierceness here.
You simply can't teach attitude like that -- but you can encourage it, which is exactly what Will Hutt did.
Unfortunately, someone had something particularly intolerant to say about it. Clearly, dad Will had absolutely no patience for it.
“It’s very typical for people to assume that because he has two dads, that we somehow guided him in this direction," Hutt said in an interview, after the Facebook post got some attention. "That is simply not the case. Fortunately, he has a great school and very good friends that didn’t give him a hard time. I am not asking for applause or acceptance from other parents. I fully understand many probably have an issue with this, but I am perplexed by other parents criticism.“
With dads like this, Liam is definitely going to keep killing it every Halloween.
