A Cute Animal ‘Tweet Off’ Is Exactly What The World Needs Today.
Twitter has developed greatly as an app, used for various purposes. It's primarily a social platform where people can speak their minds. It's a platform where people go to find news on current events. But most importantly, it's a platform where people can seek temporary entertainment when a distraction from the real world is needed.
That's why the recent #CuteAnimalTweetOff was just what the internet needed! If you haven't searched up the hashtag already, you're missing out. Zoos and aquariums worldwide have been posting photos of their cutest animals on Twitter and we are certainly not disappointed.
Here's the catalyst of the tweet off! An adorable seal pup released by the Smithsonian’s National Zoo.
Sarah Hill (a twitter user from Virginia) then challenged the Virginia Aquarium to do better (or cuter) and so they did.
It wasn't long until all the zoo and aquarium Twitter accounts got involved.
The hashtag #CuteAnimalTweetOff was given birth to, and Twitter users worldwide were in for a huge treat.
All sorts of animals were being posted proving that even animals you least expect to be cute are indeed also very cute!
