He Couldn't Keep Up With His Kids 5 Months Ago, But Look At Him Now!
We live in a world where everything you could possibly want is easily accessible. You want a large pizza with 40 wings? No problem. Just place an order and in 45 minutes it's at your house. Don't want to do your grocery shopping? That's fine, someone can do that for you, too. Don't feel like walking your dog? That's okay, too. There's plenty of people willing to do that, as well. While this kind of living is pretty convenient, it's also made humans pretty lazy. So it's no surprise that there's an obesity problem sweeping the nation. This father noticed that his health was being affected by his weight, so he did something about it.
Jeremiah Peterson is from Montana and the proud father of three children.
While taking a hiking trip with his kids, he noticed something about himself. Something that didn't make him very happy.
He realized that his health was dwindling.
At 280lbs, Jeremiah noticed that he wasn't able to live a life that he could enjoy. He was out of breath and constantly had to take breaks while on their hike.
In fact, he was so out of shape that he didn't enjoy the hiking trip, at all.
“Instead of remembering all the good memories we had made on this trip all I can remember is this one thing that kept playing in my head over and over again. I found myself running out of breath and having to take breaks way before my 9, 7, and 6-year-old kids," said Jeremiah.
Those thoughts played over in his head again and again.
Since then, Jeremiah has committed to a healthy lifestyle and the results are phenomenal!
But it wasn't an easy task to complete.
Jeremiah went for a 45-minute hike before and after work and an hour-long weight training session each day without any days off!
