Single Dad Is Teaching Other Dads How To Style Their Daughters' Hair.
Phillipe Morgese is on a mission to teach fathers everywhere the art of hairstyling. The single dad has become a pro at creating different hairstyles for his nine-year-old daughter Emma.
Morgese started a class called “Daddy Daughter Hair Factory” where men learned how to detangle, brush, make ponytails, three-stranded braids, and a basic bun. "Most of the dads picked it right up and did some outstanding stuff,” says Morgese.
Morgese held the class at the International Academy in South Daytona, Florida. He is hoping to add more classes for men and women.
Dads showed up with their daughters committed to learn how to style hair.
"The bond between a parent and their child is special. I hope this story inspires others to volunteer their time to help those in their community," says Morgese.
Morgese said he called various salons in his area but no one was interested. He was about to give up when the International Academy thought his idea was brilliant.
The dads even received goody bags with hair products to get them started.
