Here’s A Restaurant Where Your Order Falls On Deaf Ears And It’s Fabulous!
Signs is a new restaurant that just opened in Toronto, Canada. It offers diners a whole new experience by using sign language to place their orders. The restaurant hires deaf servers so it gives the deaf community jobs where they’d normally be left out.
The owner Anjan Manikumar was once a server himself and was inspired to open Signs when he waited on a deaf customer who had to order by pointing to the menu.
What a brilliant idea! I would totally eat there. Just by watching this I picked up five new ASL words.
