20 DIY Facials For Healthy Glowing Skin, Every Woman Should Know About #3.

Who doesn't love a facial? They leave your skin feeling radiant and beautiful. The downside is that they're usually pricey. You can go to a salon and have a "professional" apply the face mask onto your face for a whopping total of more than you want to spend. Or you can go buy some brand named face masks they sell at beauty stores for a little less money and apply it yourself. OR you can use ingredients that you already have in your kitchen to create your own facial.

Take a look at some of the DIY facials we've collected below to help get you started. We've provided the recipe and instructions on how to mix and apply for each one.

Pampering yourself has never been so easy.

#1. Avocado and Honey Mask (For Dry Skin)

½ ripe avocado
2 teaspoons of god quality, local honey
1 tbsp oats (the smaller the better)

Mash avocados with a fork. Then add honey and oats and mix together. Apply to face and leave on for 15-20 minutes.

#2. Grapefruit Mask (Fights Wrinkles and Tightens Skin)

Juice from ½ a grapefruit
1 tbsp raw honey
1 egg white
½ cup oatmeal

Mix together ingredients. Apply to face and leave on for 15 minutes.

#3. Bentonite Clay and Turmeric Mask (Super Strong Facial)

1/4 teaspoon of powdered organic turmeric
2 teaspoons of bentonite clay
2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar*

Mix well with a wooden or plastic spoon. Avoid metal bowls and utensils. Apply evenly to face and neck, avoiding the lip and eye area. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes. As the mixture dries, it will become very tight and you may feel it pulsating, this is normal. Remove gently with a warm, wet washcloth. This might cause redness afterwards so it's not a good idea to do this before a special event.

*Apple cider vinegar is optional. Use filtered water as a substitute.

#4. Organic Aloe and Cucumber Mask (Soothes Irritated and Sensitive Skin)

1 large aloe plant leaf, washed and chopped
1 cup chopped cucumber

Blend ingredients together in either a blender or food processor. Apply to face and leave on for up to 30 minutes.

#5. Strawberry Smoothie Mask (Cleanses, Brightens, Tones, and Treats Blemishes)

3-4 strawberries, frozen or fresh
2 tbsp lemon juice (about ½ large lemon)
2 tbsp oats
1 tbsp brown sugar
Optional: several drops of lemon essential oil

Place all ingredients into blender or food processor and mix. Apply to face and leave on for 10 minutes.
