Bride Temporarily Blinded By Bouquet Of Poisonous Flowers Got Her Dream Wedding Do-Over.
As soon as it was official, the newlyweds made their way to the hospital.
The doctors gave her some eyedrops and a shot and told her she was lucky she didn't have permanent eye damage. She was groggy from the meds, so on the way back home they stopped at a Target to get something comfortable for Christine to wear. “He got me pajamas that said "Bride" on it. He asked if he should change too and I said no. He made me as comfortable as possible," said Christine.
After their first dance, and a bit of cake, the couple made their way to their hotel, where Jon spent the night eating pizza while Christine slept.
It wasn't exactly the evening that they planned for their first night as husband and wife. Lucky for them, Steve Harvey heard their story. He had a huge surprise in store for them.
Steve invited them to be on his show and told them he planned an amazing week-long wedding re-do at Disney!
“I had just never heard of a wedding where the bride had to be rushed to the emergency room for having an allergic reaction to her bouquet and having so many bad things happen on their wedding day. I really felt like they deserved another opportunity to celebrate and what better place to make it happen than Disney," explained Steve.
The couple were treated to the ultimate wedding experience, complete with a brand new wedding dress!
The couple thought Steve did an absolutely amazing job planning and officiating their ceremony. Soon after, the couple headed off to Hawaii for their honeymoon at Disney’s Aulani Resort. But that's not the best part. The couple announced that they're preparing to have their first child in August!
