This Dog With Braces Totally Gets Your Struggles With Imperfect Teeth.

We've seen plenty of adorable dogs on the Internet by now, but we've never seen one one with a smile quite like this.

Meet Wesley, a 6-month-old golden retriever who recently went viral for his unusual medical procedure. That's right: This little guy got some doggy braces.

The Harborfront Hospital for Animals in Spring Lake, Michigan, posted a photo of the pup's new look on Facebook, imploring pet owners to think about their dog's dental health. “February is National Pet Dental Health month," the hospital wrote. "So we thought this was a good time to let you know about the importance of your best buddy's dental health."

Wesley makes a perfect spokesdog for this message, as his life has been dramatically improved by his recent dental procedure. See more of this adorable canine's new-and-improved canines below.

This is Molly Moore and her six-month-old golden retriever, Wesley.

Molly works at the veterinary clinic owned by her dad, Jim Moore.

Wesley is a happy, ridiculously cute puppy -- but inside his mouth, his teeth were coming in improperly.

“Once his adult teeth started coming out, we noticed they were coming in wrong and he was unable to close his mouth fully,” Molly said.

Wesley had a hard time eating, and he was losing weight. Molly knew something had to be done about his teeth.

Luckily, Molly’s father happens to be a specialist in veterinary dentistry. He had a brilliant plan: Dog braces.

Wesley was placed under anesthetic and given the full orthodontic work-up.

Clearly, Wesley is pretty proud of his new brace-face.

“He’s just so cute with them on,” Molly said.

According to the doc, Wesley only has to wear his braces for a few months.

Pretty soon, this perfect pooch will have the mouth to match.
