It’s Easter and you’ve probably seen tons of eggs and egg design ideas everywhere, but have you seen these egg-shaped buildings?
#1. This egg designed by Josef Stöger is actually the longest treetop walk in the world. It’s located in Germany’s Bavarian National Park and wraps around three fir trees.
#3. Imagine living in this egg shaped mobile home called the Blob Vb3. Designed by Belgium-based architects dmvA, its frame is made from timber and covered in stretchy material and polyester. It has a kitchen, bathroom, guest room, sleeping space, and lots of room for storage. It even has LED lights that give it a yolky glow at night.
#4. This checkered egg is a four-level library located in Berlin. It was designed by Foster and Partners. It’s glass openings allow for natural ventilation and shading to control daylight and temperature.
