This Real-Life ‘Elf On The Shelf’ Takes Christmas Naughtiness To A New Level.
By now, you're probably familiar with Elf on the Shelf, the new Christmas concept that involves parents positioning an elf doll in different places all over the house when the kids are sleeping. The idea is that the elf is magic, and is always watching what the kids are doing to report it back to Santa. It sounds creepy, but children love it, and the Elf on the Shelf toy is flying off the, well, shelves.
One man decided to take the Elf on the Shelf to a whole new level -- by becoming the Elf, himself.
Over the past few weeks, Megan Wynberg has been sharing photographs of her husband, Joe, decked out like the elf in different places around their home. She introduced her friends and family to the elf with the name "FLE," and told her kids that he was always watching. As it turns out, FLE is a lot more disruptive than she planned.
Three days after FLE hit the scene, he was spotted making snow angels with flour on the kitchen floor. "Because picking up after four kids isn't enough," Megan Wynberg wrote on Facebook.
It appears that he's causing plenty of trouble.
He was even spotted climbing down the chimney.
And inexplicably, taped to the wall.
Megan Wynberg told the media that their kids are loving FLE's antics.
"It's been fun, and I assure everybody we probably laugh more than they do every night," she said.
