Elton John Made An Impromptu Appearance At A Train Station, And Surprised Everyone.
Some of the commuters at the St Pancras railway station in London arrived late to their destination. And it was for good reason, they stopped to watch Sir Elton John give an impromptu performance. A piano was placed in the middle of the 148-year-old building for the singer to delight his fans.
Elton John later revealed through Instagram that the Yamaha piano was donated to the station. He left his signature and message written on it, “Enjoy this piano. It’s a gift. Love, Elton John.” John’s 32nd album, Wonderful Crazy Night was just released this month.
The artist did not sing but played the piano for about five minutes.
"Now everyone can have a play," says Sir Elton John about donating the piano.
