Faithful Dog Refuses To Leave And Waits Outside While The Owner Is In The ER.

"If you want a friend in this world, get a dog," said Harry Truman. And we couldn't agree more. Anything we say regarding the loyalty of our beloved pet dogs would be an understatement, but we'll try anyway.

These furry friends are the epitome of unconditional love. They wait patiently for you to return home from work. And when you leave to run errands, it feels like forever but even then, they don't grow angry with you.

Somehow, they know not to leave your side when you are feeling blue and they even "kiss" you affectionately to try and cheer you up. Your feelings become their feelings, too.

We've heard many heartfelt stories of ever faithful friends such as the Akita dog Hachikō, who waited for his owner at the same spot every day even after his death. Today, we have a story of a dog who waited for his human outside of a hospital. Read more about it below.

Thanks to their olfactory abilities, or their keen sense of smell, dogs can sense when our bodies are changing. Some can detect certain illnesses, including diabetes and cancer.

The little guy waited faithfully for his owner.

“While he waited, he made himself at home near the ambulance bays, so we wrapped him up to keep him warm,” said Sarah Angelou, an apprentice paramedic.

“He seemed very entertained by the passing ambulance crews and hospital staff and even managed to sneak a bite of our lunch!”
