This Blind Abandoned Dog Living In The Worst Conditions Gets Rescued. Have Your Tissues Handy.

Hope for Paws is a non-profit animal rescue organization, based in Los Angeles, California.  They rescue dogs and other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters. They foster these animals in their home, cage free, until they can find them permanent, loving homes.

Audrey and Eldad Hagar with Hope for Paws,  found a poor abandoned blind dog covered in dirt and fleas, living in a pile of trash in South Los Angeles last year.

She was blind and terrified. Audrey picked her up and took her home.

Eldad told Huffington Post “we’re so happy that people are watching this and learning. We want people to react to this. Next time you see an animal on the street, call someone or do something. If you can’t help, then get help.”

This is such a beautiful rescue story. If you were touched by Fiona and what her rescuers at Hope for Paws did to save her, share this with your friends.
