Now imagine how your experience would be if you got to sleep under the Northern Lights? Well now you can, in a floating tree-cabin isolated in Lapland Forest in Northern Sweden. The cabin's mission is to shorten the gap between people and nature.
Snøhetta, an international architecture and design company, has created "The 7th Room." It's a luxury hotel in Northern Sweden, near the Arctic Circle.
The structure design is based on the traditional Nordic cabin. It sits on twelve columns and 33 feet above the ground.
The inside is filled with light wooden interior and large windows that provide amazing views of the Swedish Lapland, including the Lule River.
One of the cabin's greatest features is the outdoor terrace with a netted base. With this terrace, visitors are allowed an experience they'll never forget under the Northern Lights.
Aside from that, the cabin provides a large space of almost 600 square feet with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a social lounge area.
