This High School Senior Is About To Go Down In Valentine's Day History.
Hayden Godfrey has been working for a year and a half at McDonal’s as a cook, a dishwasher at a Mexican restaurant, and bagging groceries at the nearby food market for a very important reason. The senior high school student did not buy a car or plan a holiday with his buddies, instead he used his earnings to purchase a carnation for every girl at Sky View High School
The Smithfield, Utah resident spent $450 for 900 carnations. Hayden has been working hard playing cupid since he was 14; sending secret flowers to a dozen friends or so. Every year, though his list of friends grew. This time, he wanted to make his gesture bigger by not excluding anyone.
“I don't think anything can compare to seeing every girl in your life holding a flower as they walk through the halls,” explains Hayden.
Hayden relied on the help of 20 friends to sort out and cut the stems of the carnations.
The senior student had to use his parent's van to transfer the carnations to the school.
The school administration were in on the surprise. They provided Hayden with the exact number of female students and gave him and his friends permission to hand the carnations out on the last class period.
Hayden's goal was to make as many people as possible happy. Mission accomplished!
Next, a high school student skipped prom and did something even better.
