She Shows Love To A Blind Feral Cat, What She Gets In Return… So Beautiful.
Animal adoption agencies will often seek the help of volunteers to take the animals home for a limited period of time. Whether it’s due to a recovery from surgery, building trust among humans, or some just need a little extra TLC, the living arrangements are temporary.
These loving humans will tell you that they love and treat every animal they care after with the same devotion and patience. Still, there is always a cat or dog that they form a special bond with. It’s not planned or forced. It is two souls that know they are meant to be family.
Nikki Martinez calls herself a foster mom. She lives in Las Vegas, Nevada where she shares the happy and heartwarming adoption of families and cats on her Instagram account myfosterkittens. The feline who pulled at her heartstrings is one who didn’t seem interesting interacting with humans. But with a lot of love and patience, this cat is learning Martinez is her human.
Martinez is part of the trap-neuter-return (TNR) program where cats are humanely trapped, spayed/neutered, and released.
Stella is not only blind but also feral. That didn't deter Martinez from loving the cat. She told her husband she had a special connection with Stella.
Stella along with her two siblings who are also fully or partially blind, hid in the crate in the beginning.
"I didn't have the heart to put these three 4-month-old kittens back outside blind, so I took them in my home and immediately got them medical attention and started socializing them since they had never had human interaction," says Martinez.
The feline has had a long road to recovery.
