So THAT’S What The Fox Said…It All Makes Sense Now.

This is Loki, an orphaned red fox that was raised by his trainers at the Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding, California. What you're about to see is the first time they worked on getting Loki to vocalize something on cue. His way of showing pure joy will melt your heart each time the trainer asks, "What does the fox say?"

They decided that after the song "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)" by Ylvis went sensationally viral that it would be a good idea to answer the question.

Foxes can be found on every continent on the planet, except for Antarctica. There's 12 "true" species of fox, and the most popular one is the red fox or vulpes vulpes. The animals are quick and cunning and have a variety of vocalizations, including barks, squeals, screams, and high-pitched shrills. However, they are usually quiet and mostly communicate with scents.
