Lady Gaga Tricked Us All During Her Halftime Show.
You didn't have to be a football fan to turn on your television sets to watch the multi-talented Lady Gaga perform at the Super Bowl halftime on February 5, 2017. Her performance had been greatly anticipated not just for what she was going to wear and what songs she would sing from her repertoire of hits. Fans wanted to know if her performance was going to be political or not.
It's fair to say, Gaga didn't disappoint with her electrifying presentation. It included drones, jumping off the top of the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, and of course a lot of glitter, singing, and dancing. Now that we have calmed down after her epic show, insiders are revealing how this monstrous show was pulled without a hitch.
During the 2016 Super Bowl, Gaga performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" in Santa Clara, California's Levi's Stadium.
It wasn't just her red metallic suit that stole our hearts once again. Her rendition was powerful and flawless. If the NFL didn't know what this megastar was capable of, they knew then she had to be their performer the next year for the halftime show.

In preparation for her big show Lady Gaga told Good Morning America, she was training hard.
"I work out a lot. I also do versa-climbing while I sing, and I sing while I do it. Because the show is full on cardio, (as are) my performances most of the time. So, it's cardio while singing," she admitted.

It wasn't going to be only football fans watching but everyone who loves her.
"We went through my whole career, and chose songs both the football fans and the people that are just tuning on for the halftime show will enjoy," she revealed. "I don't wanna give away also how many costume changes I'll be doing ... We will be doing some very interesting and exciting stuff during the show, and I'm excited for you to see it."

She teased her 22 million Instagram fans with her preparation.
There was also a lot of speculation as to whether or not the musical goddess would have a surprised singer join her on stage. Names like Beyonce and Bruno Mars were thrown around.

Always open and direct with her fans, Gaga took to Instagram to quelch the rumour mill.
"There will not be any guest performers tonight, I'm doing these 13 minutes solo! I dedicate every second to the love, diversity, compassion, and wild spirit of our fan base," she clarified.
