The media has taken to calling him the "Beaster Bunny," and it's not hard to see why. This 56 pound bunny named Darius is truly massive - but he's also pretty adorable, too.

Darius is big for any pet, let alone a rabbit. He's four feet long and is officially the world's biggest rabbit. According to his owner, Darius is an ideal pet: He's sweet, charming, and loyal. That's good news, because it costs her nearly $10,000 a year to feed him. See the photos of this enormous rabbit below.

As if Darius wasn't enough, he also has a son: His name is Jeff, and he's well on his way to being bigger than his father. They're a breed of rabbit called the Continental Giant, and their name certainly doesn't lie.

According to Edwards, Jeff might eventually give Darius a run for his money. "Darius was always big but Jeff," she said. "He's huge considering he's still a baby. I'm expecting him to grow much bigger than his dad."
