He Picked Up His Violin To Play ‘Hallelujah,’ But HOW He Played It Will Give You Chills.
There are some songs that are so beautiful and moving, one cannot imagine them ever being played any differently. It would seem blasphemous to flirt with perfection. Violinist Rob Landes and pianist Aubry Pitcher played live, the cover song “Hallelujah” from Canadian singer and song writer Leonard Cohen sans words.
The performance is pure magic and touching. Landes began playing the violin at the tender age of three. Despite recognition and performances throughout the world, Landes is introducing classical music to a new audience by covering popular music with a looper pedal, amp and of course his violin.
Here's another amazing violinist you need to hear.
