Watch Alan Rickman Pranking Harry Potter… It’s Wickedly Funny.
Since its book release in 1997, Harry Potter has captivated young and old readers into a world filled with magic, fantasy, and the fight of good against evil. Filmmakers had the daunting task of bringing J.K. Rowling’s beloved characters to life by casting unknown child actors with established and respected British thespians.
Nonetheless, despite the extensive years of classical training, the adults had a great time playing jokes on their impressionable co-stars. For one particular scene Sir Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman and director Alfonso Cuarón decided to turn their attention to then 15-year-old Daniel Radcliffe.
What made the situation even more embarrassing was that the prank was done around a girl Radcliffe liked. Watch this hilarious outtake and see the late Rickman break character at 0:54. I may have to watch the movie again but with a new perspective.
