Teacher Spent 70 Hours Turning Classroom Into Hogwarts For His Students.

It takes a special type of person to become a teacher. A teacher is the person that helps mold children's minds. They inspire and encourage kids to find out their dreams, and reach for the stars to achieve them. Sometimes children get a teacher that feels so passionate about what they do, that they go above and beyond the call of duty. It's important to make learning fun, and exciting. Getting children to actually want to learn is sometimes half the battle. This teacher is one of those teachers that his students will remember for the rest of their lives. He encourages learning in the most magical of ways!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Mr. Kyle Hubler's classroom.

Kyle Hubler is a seventh and eighth grade teacher at Evergreen Middle School, in Hillsboro, Oregon. Before school started this year, he found out he was moving classrooms and had an absolutely magical idea!

Hubler is a mega fan of the wonderful Harry Potter series.

He loves it so much because of the impact it had on him when he was a child. "Being a kid can be tough sometimes ― there were times when I felt weird and that I didn’t belong to any circle of friends, and reading the books was a way to escape that and feel like I did belong," explained Hubler.

He carried the lessons learned through Harry Potter with him throughout his life.

“As I grew up, I became more skilled in socializing and developed stronger connections with friends, but the lessons in the books about acceptance, loyalty, and integrity stayed with me and inform a lot of the philosophy I have in my approach to teaching and how I interact with my students,” Hubler said.
