Cops Are Now Warning People To Take A Picture Of Your Hotel Room Right When You Walk Through The Door.

Human trafficking is a thriving business around the world. The trade of women, men, and children for sexual slavery, exploitation, and forced labour, among others is led by organized crime, with presence in every country. For all intense and purpose, it is modern day slavery.

The clandestine crime networks see human trafficking as a “low risk/high reward activity” as it is hard to find and the victims can be used and abused repeatedly. According to the United Nations, this lucrative crime network generates an average of $32 billion every year. This makes it the second large source of income through illegal means, just behind drug trafficking.

This global problem affects people of all races, age, gender, economic status. UNICEF estimates there are 1.2 million children trafficked every year. Much of the trafficking includes passing both international borders as well as interstate activities.
