She Took The Lid Of Her Ice Cream… Now Her Husband Has Some Explaining To Do.

Usually when you are given a tub of Häagen-Dazs ice cream, your first instinct is to open its lid and devour the cold treat in what feels like seconds. Makoto Asano has completely different plans.

The iced milk lover says, “my hobby is making ice cream laugh.” The Japanese artist uses his dessert to make fun and quirky faces with a spoon as his carving tool and syrup as his paint. Asano using his ice cream as art falls in the same league as coffee baristas using the hot drink as the canvas for spectacular creations. After seeing Asano’s work, I will probably never see ice cream the same way again.

Maybe the next time you open up a tub of premium ice cream, you too may be tempted, prior to taking your first bite, to perhaps carve a happy face to make an already delicious snack a bit more entertaining.

Next, toilet paper rolls are made into cool masks by French artist Junior Fritz Jacquet.
