The Strokkur

This is a fantastic picture of the Strokkur erupting. It's a natural occurring fountain and it goes off usually about every six to ten minutes. It's in the southwest region of Iceland.

A morning view of a tremendous waterfall.

This photo was taken at 5:30am and shows the sun starting to peak over the powerful waterfall. If you are wondering how big it is use the person standing next to it to gauge its size. That waterfall is huge!

Another beautiful ice cave

This is an awesome photo of the Langjokull glacier tunnels. Look at the beautiful shade of blue and how it illuminates in the light.

The Barnafoos waterfall

The Barnafoos waterfall is known around the world and it's located above the lava falls of Hraunfossar. Here you can see the beautiful blue running through the snow covered rocks.

The US Navy doesn't pick up its trash.

A United States Navy plane crashed on the black beach at Solheimasandur, back in 1973. The ruins of the plane are still there on the southern coast of Iceland.

While it's a great picture you have to wonder why it's still there.
