IKEA Trolled Kayne West, And Then The Entire Internet Joined In.
A million hits, a superstar wife, and an attitude that simultaneously makes people laugh and pisses people off: Yes, Kanye west is one-of-a-kind, and we're always happy to hear that he's in the news stirring up trouble.
This particular story isn't exactly scandalous, but its hilarious nonetheless. It all started when Kanye went to IKEA and found some inspiration, then tweeted that he wanted to collaborate with the brand. Kanye has lots of interesting ideas, but there was no telling if this particular collab would ever come to fruition. Now, it has -- but the whole thing isn't exactly official.
Instead, it sparked a wave of Internet response that makes us wish the Kanye-IKEA dream team was something that was actually happening. Check out the IKEANYE products below, many of them a not-so-subtle homage to Yeezy's lifestyle. The Kanye mirror and the Kim K chair are so brilliant, IKEA might actually be considering putting them on the shelves.
Back in March, Kanye adorably tweeted that he'd like to collaborate with IKEA.
He even went so far to make a little drawing of his ideas.
Naturally, IKEA was totally into the idea.
IKEA Australia ended up posting this on Facebook, a hypothetical Yeezy bed design.
Then, of course, the Internet followed suit. They lovingly trolled the star with plenty of Photoshopped IKEA products.
Of course, they didn't forget about Kim. This chair is inspired by her, for obvious reasons.
And we all know that IKEA serves food -- who wouldn't want to try an order of crispy Yeezy fish sticks.
This would make the perfect accent in any Kanye fan's house.
And we all know that in Kanye's ideal world, we'd all look in the mirror and see Kanye.
Getting clean with this Kanye shower curtain wouldn't be creepy at all.
Something tells us that IKEA would sell plenty of these planters.
When Kanye told us to Watch The Throne, he probably wasn't referring to this one.
Honestly, there's something about this Kanye-IKEA collaboration that just feels right to us. Here's hoping that IKEA succumbs to the power of Yeezus as soon as possible.
