These Celebrities Got Really Geeky About ‘Star Wars’… And We Don’t Blame Them.

It's official. We knew it was going to be big, but The New York Times reported that the highly anticipated "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has shattered box office records. It was the largest opening weekend North America has ever seen with over $238 million in ticket sales. "Avator," considered by analysts as the highest-grossing film in history, saw $85 million in its first three days in domestic ticket sales.

The film's success is due to much more than bandwagon types. Even the critics have praised it. Rotten Tomatoes, the most trusted and among the strictest measurement of quality for Movies & TV, has the film currently rated at 95%. This is great news for the film industry, especially since Netflix has dominated in more recent years.

A pop cultural sensation reaching across the globe, there is no specific type of "Star Wars" fan. Fans everywhere, from your co-worker to your tax guy, lined up for its release and are still on a Jedi high. Celebrities and even the POTUS are no exception. They, too, have shared the excitement for the series despite their busy schedules.

Keep the force going with these photos of famous people who love "Star Wars" just as much as you do.

President Barack Obama ended a Press Conference with, 'Okay, everybody, I gotta get to Star Wars!' He joined Gold Star families -- families of soldiers martyred in the Iraq War -- in a special screening of the film.

According to an interview with Conan, Daniel Radcliffe crashed the set of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Radcliffe admitted being a recent fan, "My parents were never into it so it never got passed on. And then you're a teenager and everyone is telling me to watch something, and I'm like I'm not going to watch what you're telling me to watch. But I watched them this year and they are amazing."
