Scientists Claim They’ve Found A New Species Of Frog… But I’ve Seen It Before.

It's not easy being green, but being a spitting image for the world's most lovable frog is pretty awesome.

The Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center just announced the discovery of a new frog species, the glass frog, that looks almost exactly like Kermit - save for the little green color.

The official name of the species is hyalinobatrachium dianae, and it was found in the foothills of the Costa Rican countryside. It is one of 15 glass from species in Costa Rica - but it's the only one that looks like it knows the lyrics to Rainbow Connection.
