15 Kid’s Doodles That Were Turned Into Real-Life Inventions.

Kids have a wild imagination and a lot of their ideas end up as colorful drawings on a piece of paper for parents to enjoy. Inventor and artist, Dominic Wilcox wanted to give life to children’s creativity.

The Brit held a contest in Sunderland and South Tyneside, encouraging 450 children to submit a sketch of their invention. Wilcox chose 60 illustrations out of the 600 submissions he received to be part of the INVENTORS! project. Local makers had only four weeks to take the designs from an idea to an actual model. Wilcox and his team hope to “inspire and encourage children to believe in the power of their imagination.”
