This Gay Choir’s Tribute To Orlando Had Me In Floods Of Tears.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a gay club in Orlando became the grisly, tragic scene for the deadliest mass shooting ever to be exacted on American soil. At the hands of a deranged gunman with automatic weapons, 50 people lost their lives and over 50 more were injured -- needless to say, it's been an incredibly hard week.
But one thing that's been getting us through this difficult time is the response of love and goodwill that's come from fellow Americans, and from people all over the world. Vigils are held nightly, people are sharing thoughts of positivity on social media, and some have even put something special together in honor of the victims. Take, for example, the London Gay Man's Chorus. As an act of solidarity, they took to the streets of Soho in London to perform "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and "The Way Old Friends Do." Their performance is incredibly moving, and you can see it in full below.
