This Baby Horse Was Rescued By Strangers… The Way She Said ‘Thanks’ Is Priceless.
When you live in a big city, it's easy to pass someone in need. Someone else will help them, you say to yourself, or it's not my business anyway, and you go on about your day. But there are also days when you feel moved to do something. Anything.
Last week, I was having a rotten day and treated myself to a chocolate chip cookie from Starbucks. Afterwards, I passed a homeless man on the street who had been sitting there since the morning, maybe longer. I walked down the steps to catch my train. Right before I passed through the gates, I thought of the man and went back up. I offered him the cookie and he responded with, “I love me some chocolate chip cookies.” I do too, but seeing him smile was much sweeter.
For an even sweeter story, watch as this man gets out of his car to save a foal, or baby horse, from being run over. Taylor Swift's "Style" plays in the background because hey, kindness, never goes out of style.
Would you have done the same?
