This ‘Lazy’ Dog Accidentally Ran A Half-Marathon, And His Owner Had NO Idea.

Before the recent Trackless Train Trek Half Marathon in Elkmont, Alabama, Ludivine's owner would have described her as lazy. Bloodhounds aren't exactly known for their high levels of energy, preferring to sit by their humans' side and relax every chance they get. However, on marathon day, Ludivine changed her tune -- in fact, she ran the entire race.

On the morning of the event, the two-and-a-half year old dog got out of her backyard and found her way to the race. Surprisingly, she actually ran the entire thing: She even finished in seventh place.

"She's laid back and friendly, so I can't believe she ran the whole half marathon because she's actually really lazy," Ludivine's owner said in an interview. See the photos of her spontaneous race below.

There she is, keeping pace with all of the rest of the runners.

Despite the fact that she came in seventh, we think that Ludivine is the real winner here.
