Facts About Meghan Markle Most People Don't Know.

#6. Feminism was part of who she was way before she took the Hollywood and the eventual Royal spotlight.

When she was 11, she wrote a letter to influential people like Hillary Clinton. A few days later, Procter & Gamble changed their slogan from “Women” to “People all over America.” This was the result of a dishwashing commercial aimed at women that didn’t sit well with Meghan.

#7. She loved the idea of acting, but didn’t want to be the stereotypical L.A. girl who wanted to act.

So, Meghan majored in both theater and international relations in Evanston, Illinois. While she was a total theater nerd, she juggled her studies between both majors. But she also took frequent breaks at the 24-hour Burger King nearby.

#8. If she hadn’t ended up becoming a Duchess, she might have ended up being a politician.

When she was at the university, she landed an internship at the US Embassy in Argentina. She was 20 at the time and driving around in a motorcade in Buenos Aires. She told Marie Claire she had considered a political career. Can you imagine a Senator Markle or President Markle? Kind of has a ring to it, doesn't it?

#9. She certainly wasn’t shy being in front of cameras, but she totally disliked being on “Deal or No Deal.”

Every year she would shoot a pilot, but didn’t land anything until she was finally cast in “Suits.” But most people forgot she was on the popular game show “Deal or No Deal.” She was number 26 and stood uncomfortably in five-inch heels hoping for someone to pick her number, but no one ever did.

#10. When it comes to makeup, Meghan likes to keep things pretty simple.

No one knows what her beauty routine looks like, but she has confessed her love for a few holy grail items such as the Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder, The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil, and the Rms Beauty Living Luminizer, which is clearly the key to her fresh, glowy, and effortless look. Asides from prepping the skin, Meghan keeps it simple by adding a bit of Nars lush and some Dior Mascara, and voila! She's ready to take on the world!
