30 Celebrities Who Stunned Everyone With Their Outfit At The Met Gala.
Last night was the 2016 Met Gala, the annual event hosted by Anna Wintour that brings together tons of celebrities, artists, and influencers, all to support the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Fashion wise, it's arguably the most interesting red carpet of the year: People take risks, wear strange things, and are unapologetically bold with their looks.
This year, the theme for the gala was "Manus x Machina," and was all about fashion's place in technology in the digital age. As you can imagine, a lot of stars interpreted the theme pretty literally and dressed in robot-inspired attire and strange silhouettes. You won't believe whose dress actually lit up -- if that's not fashion in the future, what is?
The dress theme was supposed to represent the point at which technology and fashion will converge in the future.

Naturally, everyone had their own interpretations on the theme. Some opted for futuristic looks, while others had more steampunk vibes.
As always, Solange Knowles did the theme as perfectly as possible.
Claire Danes' gown, created by Zac Posen, actually lit up in the dark.
Everyone did the Met Gala a little differently, and while not all the looks hit the mark, it was definitely a diverse scene on the red carpet.
Naturally, host Anna Wintour had to set up a futuristic space at the Met to take photos.
Which of these was your favorite 2016 Met Gala look? Which stars do you think executed the theme flawlessly?
