He wrapped the inside and outside of the S with rubber ply as well. Doing this on the inside curves is pretty complicated.

He also added staples to the back of the plywood to ensure a secure fit.

Then came time to add the laminate, another feat of precise measuring and patience.

He used the same CNC program as he used to cut out the S on the rack to cut the laminate.

Then he used spray adhesive to attach the laminate to the rack.
