She Used 1,969 Nail Polish Bottles To Create Something Truly Unique.
With YouTube flourishing with beauty gurus such as ipsy creator Michelle Phan and Samantha Maria (BeautyCrush), more and more people have begun to play with the idea of cosmetics as a form of art. Some have even started their own channels, making it hard for the rest of us to believe that there’s anything new under the sun.
Whether you agree with it or not, Lithuania-based artist Agne Kisonaite has a different take on cosmetic art. She recently created a 'Glass Blowing' mural in which she used 1,969 bottles of nail polish.
In a very time-consuming process, Kisonaite gathered and organized over 5,000 bottles in 21 select shades before forming her final image. Keeping in line with all things beauty, the highlight of this piece is a set of titanic red lips.
Some beauty lovers will love what she's done while others won't be able to stop worrying about the fumes. See photos of her ambitious project below.
